Music blasting: Jason Mraz- Geek in the Pink
I love shanghai!!!!!!!!!! The trip was spectacular. my only regret? I cant stay longer. The tour grp went to hang zhou (although it aint in our itenary), shang hai and bei jing.. In 7 Daes! i must go to shang hai again!!! Ha! The shopping is fantastic. It'll pauperize u in 2 daes. It has great history (though nth compared to Bei Jing), weather (i'm a sucker for e cold weather), shopping (need i sae more?), and... the men.. HEH HEH HEH!! Some's got gd fashion taste! Many differeny nationalities.. And i was ogling at a student in the academy (he was massaging another girl's feet). Geez. I shant go on. EVERYONE in the tour grp is sick of me fainting at the thought of him. LOL
Girls! Pls visit xing tian di! Boys, pls stay at hm. I dont wanna kill ya pockets. V.cool pubs thr, and i conclude tt even though i only visit thr in the day. The night scene is so beautiful!!! (better den sg). Now i understand y it's e city that never slps. (shall upload some pix later)
BeiJing was the antithesis of shanghai. The two biggest city of China, but BeiJing is the political hub, while ShangHai was a financial one. Hence, the way of life is wayyyyyyyy slower in BJ. Loads of historical background. It encourages me to learn more about china's history (for eg. Empress Dowager Ci Xi drank breast milk til the end of her days. *faints). Like all Singaporean yahoos, we went to the touristy places, filled w loads of ppl. They're such a burden! Forbidden City, Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven. Beautiful, but crowded. Ugh. Great Wall's great. I climbed to the top, and wanted to try the steeper section. Unfortunately... it started pouring. SHIT man! Everytime I climb the great wall, it rains. Pfft! There was the victory gate where we learn some amature feng shui, jade factory, and the Qing Tombs (not much tourist thr.. so its gd!).
ARGH! wad am i doing back in SG? i wanna be in CHINA!~!!!! (oh god! U would nv have thought tt u'll hear me sae this sentence one dae eh?) But yes! The trip was memorable! Fun, exciting, exhaustin.. and crazee. As usual, im e craziest in the grp. And e baby, which conveniently allows me to go even more haywire! Hey! I provide jokes ok!!! We had v.gd tour guides, even though they sae i flirted w charlie (what the...!)
Someone pls lemme stow away in the luggage heading for shang hai!!!!!!
xoxo

Music blasting from my very trusty com: Dave Matthews- #41
AHOY!!
Seems like I have picked up the Da Vinci craze. What with the movie coming up, and all this discussions going on on national geog and discovery channel. It's not hard to imagine why a wannabe historian/archaeologist's interest got piqued! I know Im a couple of years late with this da vinci craze. I havent even finished the bestseller from dan brown *hides face in shame*. Sorry la. At least I branched out from my romance novels right??
I must say that Dan Brown is an engaging writer. Wooohoooo! V.v.v.v.v.v.thrilling. 4 thumbs up (including those of my toes). Im not saying I believe the whole notion of the royal bloodline though, and tt the famous ppl such as Leonardo Davinci are part of the Priory of Sion. But it's interesting eh? Everybody loves a conspiracy. Myself included. hoho...! One things for sure though. Personally, I guess tt Mary Magdalene had a much bigger role in history den many ppl was led to believe. But I guess it does not neccessarily mean tt she's married to Jesus, and they've got a child..
gee.. But who am I to confirm these speculations. It is an interesting hypothesis though. Hohoho!! Gah... HISTORY! I love history. And this happen to be so ancient history-ish...
*crows w glee* heh heh heh...

Music spinnin' in my stereo: Joss Stone- Super Duper Love
It's been a long time since i've last blogged. Well, I cant be blamed. There's juz nth blog worthy going on in my life now. I've mostly stayed at hm, reading, watching vidz and sleeping. Bleugh. It's juz so boring here. Everyone's got jobs and other commitments. I think Im better off at hm. Even if i wanted to go out, nowhere in sg entices me that much. It's pretty much e same. Where can a singaporean teenager go to? Except maybe Orchard, Marina Sq, Orchard, Marina Sq and so on so for. Gahhh.. I think Im better off with sports. Let sports occupy my days.
one problem.
Who would wanna do sports w me? Other den my faithful cousin who is usually preoccupied with school, and her own CCA. Blading partners are scarce too. Everyone is busy busy busy. Either tt, I dont believe any of my other acquaintences are v.sporty. sigh sigh. It's back to the videos for me.
And im running out of vidz. A friend recommended tt i start watching korean dramas. What the! Im not tt desperate....... YET..! hoho.
Geez. I juz cant wait for the university to start. Hopefully, my v.stubborn stepdad would let me stay in the hall. Even den, the halls are not equipped w air-con! *moans!!!* Yeah i know. Im such a brat. I mean, this is sg! We're situated near the equator. Our hostels need air-con! This is not england you know?! And its humid! Imagine waking up all sweaty and sticky. EEEwww!
Now, where did all my friends go to???????? Or do i even have any left..
