Match

I didn't think I would have watched my team play, but as I was busy folding the leaflet (looong story), I was bored, thus i was sweeping through the various tv channels SCV cable had to offer. I watched half of "How to lose a guy in 10days." It's hilariously sweet.. Orh... And after the show, I had nothing else to watch. So I tried channels like channel 5, channel I, National Geographic, MTV, CInemax, and prompt remembered about the match. So, I watched the match.

The starting was really cute. The camera zoomed in on Benitez. And behind him sat all the LFC subs. Finnan infront of Dudek, beside Dudek was Biscan. And beside Fin was Mellor. So, as i was saying. Dudek was being cheeky. He knew that the camera was zooming on them. Thus, he evil-ly did rabbit ears to Finnan! Oh god.. It was sooooo cute. I recognised his gloved fingers. And Finny knew about it. He turned around, and the next thing I know, they were laughing away.. Awwww... Such team spirit does tug on my heart. It reminds me why I love my team. And I feel guilty for forgetting those matches, and treasuring my sleep more.

Baros had a hat trick. Good for him.. However. His behavious leaves much to be desired. No doubt, i am gna vote him to be the best player tonight. Out of the 3 goals, 2 was a penalty. But, I overheard what the commentator had to say. That he was selfish. Sadly, it pains me to kinda agree. He wanted to score. Understandable. But, he was obviously unable to since he was marked. There were other options he could have considered. Like Riise, and one more player whom I forgot. But, he wanted to score, he wanted his name, his record, and he forgo the team's goal for his own personal glory. Maybe i am being anal and stuff, but sod it. That's what I think. Kinda remind me of that rude man van nisterooy. He's another guy who forgo the team's goal for his own personal glory. Also, i find Baros somewhat of a dramatist. He likes to exaggerate when he falls. He could have won a freaking academy. I just find him a tad too... fake? Is that the correct word? Even an opposing team member thought so. He showed the people his impressions of Baros by pretending to fall when the referee wanted to book him with a yellow card. Hmmmm.. A food for thought. However, I did see Riise giving him a thumbs up. Another small sign of team communication.

The match was exciting only at selected times. LFc was clearly dominating the game. But the fact that Palace manage to thwart LFC's victory until the last min speaks a lot. It was so kancheong when Baros was awarded the penalty. My fingers were crossed... tightly.. and he did. I wanted to shout the house down, until I remembered that EVERYONE else was asleep.. Bleah~.. haha..
